Signatone Probe Station Dark Boxes

Probing applications that require protection from light and RF noise can be enclosed in a dark box to provide the necessary protection. The dark box is especially important when making low current measurements.

Dark box options include a range of feed-thrus such as coaxial and triaxial electrical fittings. One BNC connector for video, two vacuum feed-thrus, and one feed-thru boot is included with each dark box. The PSDB dark boxes all include a large top hinged front door that lifts opens from the bottom. All but the PSDB-100 include a rear door for accessing connections and utilities such as air, vacuum and coolant input/outputs.

An optional side hinged front door is available for all of the PSDB's except for the PSDB-100. This easy opening lightweight front door is mounted in the larger top hinged front door so that minor probe and microscope adjustments can be made without opening the spring-shock assisted large door.
